1Who we are
Creovix is a digital marketplace where creators sell digital products and affiliates earn commissions promoting them. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and the choices you have. By using Creovix you agree to the practices described here.
2Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run your account:
- Account details: first name, last name, email address, phone number, country and the account type you choose.
- Login and security data: your password (stored only as a one-way hash), login dates and times, and verification codes that expire quickly.
- Activity and earnings data: products you list or promote, sales, commissions, bonuses, balances and payout requests.
- Technical data: basic device and browser information needed to keep the platform secure and working.
3How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and show your dashboard.
- To process sales, split commissions and handle payouts.
- To send verification codes, security alerts and sale notifications.
- To prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised access.
- To improve the platform and respond to support requests.
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations, including anti-money-laundering rules.
4Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only when needed:
- Payment gateways that process payments and payouts for us.
- Email and hosting providers that deliver our messages and keep the platform online.
- Vendors and affiliates see limited information about sales connected to them, such as the product and the amount, not your private account details.
- Authorities when the law requires it or to protect our users and platform.
5Cookies and local storage
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and protect forms from forgery. We also store your light or dark mode choice in your browser so the site looks the way you left it. We do not use these to track you across other websites. You can clear them in your browser settings, but you may need to log in again.
6Email messages we send
The emails we send are service messages: email verification codes, password reset codes, password change alerts, account activation reminders and notifications about sales and other account activity. These are part of the service and are not marketing.
7How we protect your data
Passwords are hashed, forms are protected against forgery, repeated failed logins are limited and verification codes expire and can be used only once. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and never share your codes.
8How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as needed afterwards for legal, accounting, security and dispute purposes. Accounts that stay expired or inactive may be closed and their data deleted or anonymised after a reasonable period.
9Your rights
Subject to applicable data protection law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act where it applies, you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to certain processing or withdraw consent. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.
10Children
Creovix is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has registered, contact us and we will remove the account.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform grows. When we make important changes we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email or inside your dashboard.
